Sonoma Valley is north of San Francisco. Sonoma is an Indian word for Moon Valley. It is in this valley, in Glen Ellen, that the famous writer Jack London settled. He died there in 1916 at the age of 40 after a very short and intense life. One of his novels is called « The Valley of the Moon« . He owned a vineyard bought by Kenwood vineyards ( cuvée Jack London).

La Sonoma Valley se situe au nord de San Francisco. Sonoma est un mot indien qui signifie Vallée de la Lune. C’est dans cette vallée, à Glen Ellen que s’est installé le célèbre écrivain Jack London.
